About Baythorne Hall and Tarka's Café

Baythorne Hall is still, first and foremost, the heart of a working farm, as it has always been. Five generations of the Unwin family have farmed here, and the latest generation to take the controls have set about bringing new life to the beautiful farm buildings, now redundant for farming purposes, that make up the farmyard around the hall. Tarka's Cafe is a friendly, fun and modern take on the traditional farm cafe. We've converted a mid 20th Century barn into a light, open and contemporary space to enjoy simple yet delicious food, a great cup of coffee or tea, a glass of fine wine and exceptionally friendly service. There is a wealth of outdoor space to enjoy on sunny days, before the kids have a play and you visit the shops and take a stroll back to your car along the banks of the River Stour.
